Team Finland

Team Finland is the public network for companies that want to export, invest abroad, or work with international partners. The organisations around it include Business Finland, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (missions abroad), and Finnvera for export financing. You contact the network; they direct you to the programme that fits.

It is meant for companies that already have a product or service and a target market. It does not replace founding a firm in Finland or applying for Starttiraha.

Business Finland runs many grants and country programmes. Finnvera runs export credit and guarantees. Customs (Tulli) handles EORI and trade statistics. Intra-EU VAT rules are on Vero.fi.

Practical advice

Write down the product, the target country and last year’s domestic sales before you book a meeting.

Check which body pays: a Business Finland programme page, a Finnvera product page, or a regional development body.
