Valona Intelligence

Valona Intelligence (valonaintelligence.com) is a commercial market- and competitive-intelligence company based in Finland. It was previously named M-Brain. According to the company, its platform monitors news, industry media, company sites, regulation and some quantitative sources, and produces briefings with analysts and software.

It is a paid product. Finnish company status, VAT status and financial statements remain on YTJ, Vero and PRH.

Public alternatives for a first look at a market include Yrityshaku, Tilastokeskus, association news on Toimialajärjestöt, and Business Finland material if you export. See Team Finland.

Practical advice

List the competitors, regulators and publications you need to follow. Then ask Valona what they cover for that list and what it costs.

Do not treat a news mention as a trade-register extract.

Where to seek advice

The best place to start is Valona Intelligence: https://valonaintelligence.com/

Product description and contact are on the company site. For free Finnish registers start at https://www.ytj.fi/ . For whether a paid tool is worth it at your stage, ask Uusyrityskeskus or, for export, Team Finland / Business Finland.
